About Weekends. . . .

Take a break with a weekend with us:
You arrive to us on friday afternoon and spend the night walking arround the surroundings, or of course, you can just stay and have good time at the hotel.
On saturday you will start the day off with the breakfast buffet before you start the voyage of discovery within one of our packages. When you're done for the day you eat a lovely dinner at one of the local restaurants.
Sunday will start like saturday, with our breakfast buffet, and then your ready to start your trip home - full of new impressions and more than welcome back!

Kinnekulle - a culture trip:
Take your car and go around the beautiful Kinnekulle, a small mountain full of culture and stunning nature.
Visit the parks, curiosity shops and finish the day with a view from the top of the mountain.

In the tracks of Arn:
A trip back to the thrilling world of the middle ages.
Experience the places that are described in the romans about the knight Arn. Look at the fantastic churches, monastaries and culture environment that has meant so much for the history of Sweden.

Bird lake and culture landscape:
Two of Swedens biggest bird lakes are located nearby Mariestad.
Visit the lake Östen with its unique "Klockarbols" environment and the world famous lake, Hornborgarsjön. During the intense periods, over 10.000 cranes takes a break on their way to the summers breeding season, and resting their wings at Hornborgarsjön.

Shopping weekend in Mariestad:
Walk around and shop in nice small town - have a cup of tea in one of the cozy cafees - study the lively harbour and eat something at one of our fine restaurants.
