About the hotel. . . .

The house were built in 1949 for the widows at the employed at Katrinfors Bruk (Now Metsä Tissue).
It's heedfully planned to create a bright and airy environment. The whole house surrounds the garden, and together they create a flourish oasis.
When the house were drawn, the architect spent alot of time making details that would harmonize with the entirety.
For example the beautiful windows in the dining room - the open stair to the upper floor - or the wonderfull and unique entré with its frieze.
Around the entré there is a frieze made by Carl-Harry Stålhande which is known for his incredible creatings in ceramics.

In 1979 the house were rebuilt in order to be a hotel. And in 2003 the hotel were totally renovated when the new owners Karin and Anders Stöckel took over the company. During the renovation the qualities of the house were carefully taken care of by the architect Mattias Westelius, to once again give an extra residence experience.
